SUMMARY:ND Parks and Rec OHV/ATV Safety Course
DESCRIPTION:An OHV/ATV safety course instructed by the ND Parks and Recreation has been confirmed for July 11th from 9am-1:30pm at Brush Lake. It will include both in class and hands on demonstrations.\n\nThis class will be free to participants as it is covered by the Jake’s Star Foundation. Registered youth participants should be ages 12-15 but anyone outside of these ages are encouraged to watch and learn! \n\nPre-Registration required:  https://www.parkrec.nd.gov/business/recreation-programs/highway-vehicles-ohv/ohv-tracked-dirt-bike-safety.\n\n\nWe need a minimum of 6 registered and can have a maximum 15-16. This course is not restricted to members so please share this link with anyone within the lake community who may benefit from the course.\n\n\nUpdate to this event 5-29-20: Those that were pre-registered for this event will receive an email with the updated information. We initially stated that walk-in’s were welcome\, but they are now limited to 10 participants per session and this session is now full. If you were interested in participating but had not signed up\, please let Stacey Lang know at 701-400-2343 or staceylang@bis.midco.net. If we have a minimum of 6 that are interested\, they will schedule a 2nd training date at Brush Lake.

DESCRIPTION:Kids (and adults too) dig out those costumes! \nAdults stock up on treats\, park your lawn chairs at the road side of your cabins and socialize with your lake community! \nBalloons will be available at the Shore this weekend and next to hang roadside to mark your cabin as participating or decorate your cabin for Halloween. \nTrick or Treaters (and parents)\, make your way around the lake carefully. There may be lots of kids capitalizing on free candy.
